Khari the Ferrari Set to Dance with the Devils

BLACKSBURG, VA - After a shaky 1-2 start to his Blacksburg tenure, Khari Jones has certainly blossomed into the expected quarterback that the Blacksburg fans were hoping for to lead them to the playoffs. Jones and company have continued their consistency on the field and have won their last 3 in a row and 4 of the last five to bring them closer to a spot in the Canadian AA playoffs.

With their latest victory, a 10-7 nail-biter, Khari moved into 6th place in the Canadian AA league for passing yards with 1,635 yards having played in less games than the top 5. Khari has suited up and been credited for 10 games but has only actually played in 8 games, having been benched in his final 2 games as a Mexican Hitman. His last game, being his best game, against one of the top defenses in the league. His total combined stats for his time in Blacksburg are 151 completed passes on 271 attempts for a completion percentage of 55.7% (having never fallen below 50% in a game all season), 1288 yards, averaging 215 yards a game with 4 TDs and 4 INTs. It's this last stat that has Ballers fans worried but Khari says that its nothing to fear.

"The team is scoring points when it has to, either by air, by land or by D. I certainly would like to throw it in there a few more times but that will come with time. For now, we just need to worry about winning football games," Khari commented.

Its this consistency that has earned Khari the nickname "the Ferrarri" because he truly is the fine-tuned engine of this well-oiled machine that is the Ballers football squad.

The Ballers take the field today with a chance to secure a playoff spot and Khari has nothing but high expectations on the outcome of this afternoon's game.

"We are ready for this! We were born for this! Today, I'm putting that ball in the endzone multiple times and our boys are the only ones that are going to catch it!" a fired up Khari issued.
