Ballers Bowl Receives Renovations

BLACKSBURG (BP) -- In a press conference today outside the gorgeous Blacksburg Bowl, Owner Mike drove the first hammer into the ground commencing one of the largest renovations in Blacksburg history.

The plan for the new renovations are to add 2 new corner seating areas that will accommodate upwards of 4,000 new seats. The successful season this past year coupled with Owner Mike's optimism for the future prompted this decision. Both sections have been rumored to cost upwards of $2 million for construction and even more for labor. However the cost is worth it Mike told the Blacksburg Press.

"Honestly you get to a point where the team is growing so fast and expansion is the only answer. We recently finished our most successful season in team history and had our best attendance showing ever. To accommodate for new fans and the team spirit around Blacksburg, I think it's only fitting we try and bring more people to the stadium."

With the new renovations the Blacksburg Bowl will now be home to more than 14,000 seats and 1000 club seats. Prospective season ticket holders should rejoice because new seats will be available to purchase for the entire year. In addition the seats add a new corner viewing area that should provide an interesting angle for fans to see.

"It looks like a great project," QB Khari Jones told the Blacksburg Press. "As long as we keep expanding that means more fans to the stadium and more Ballers fever. I haven't seen any of the plans yet, but it appears to be going really great so far."

The Ballers will continue construction all though the off-season and the new seats will be ready for opening day.
