Game Preview: Week 15 Ottawa Chiefs @ Blacksburg Ballers

Ottawa Chiefs (3-11)
@
Blacksburg Ballers (14-0)

BLACKSBURG, VA - The Ballers return home for the last time this regular season but the fans in Blacksburg will be treated to at least one home playoff game as the team prepares for a likely rematch with the Saskatoon Raiders. The Raiders are currently in 9th place but hold the tiebreaker over Mooresville and have a much easier schedule than the Anglers. The Ballers are looking ahead to the playoffs but can't look too far ahead as they still have two games to go and a perfect season on the line. The Ottawa Chiefs are in town this week and with them, comes a dreadful 3-11 record with victories over the winless Boston Barbarians and Los Angeles Trojans as well as a tough victory over the Sudbury Spurs. The Chiefs losing streak should be firmly in tact for atleast one more week as Blacksburg looks to make quick work of these guys.

The History So Far...

Ottawa and Blacksburg would meet in week 6 of season with a complete Blacksburg blowout. The defense held Ottawa to 14 yards rushing 100 yards passing while intercepting two balls. Khari was on fire for 233 yards and 3 touchdowns, 2 to Mark Byrne, but was plagued by 2 interceptions. Alex Casino would add a rushing touchdown and Troy Westwood added 4 field goals as the Ballers would reign supreme with a 38-3 victory
